PERKESO grace period for non-compliant employers ends June 22
17 October 2026 · Effective 22 June 2025
PERKESO has announced a grace period running until 22 June 2025 for employers who have not yet registered or complied with their SOCSO contribution obligations. After that date, enforcement action against non-compliant employers is expected to resume. Separately, the Lindung 24 Jam scheme has officially launched covering over 9 million workers, with coverage extending beyond workplace injuries. Workers who wish to opt out must submit an exemption form. The scheme is now optional following a Cabinet decision. Employers should ensure all eligible employees are registered and contributions are up to date before the grace period closes.
