PERKESO 2025 prosecutions at five-year high, enforcement up
13 October 2026
PERKESO has reported that 2025 has seen the highest number of employer prosecutions and compound penalties in five years. This signals a stepped-up enforcement posture across contribution compliance, registration obligations, and accurate wage reporting. Separately, the Lindung 24 Jam scheme remains active with workers now able to opt out by submitting an exemption form, and contribution rates for the enhanced coverage carry slightly higher salary deductions. Employers should confirm all eligible workers are registered and contributions are accurately computed, as enforcement risk is materially higher than in prior years.
