EPF closes all payment counters nationwide from 1 July 2026
17 October 2026 · Effective 1 July 2026
EPF will close all its contribution payment counters across Malaysia from 1 July 2026. Employers who currently walk in to pay EPF contributions over the counter will no longer be able to do so after that date. All remittances must be made through online channels such as i-Akaun Majikan or approved internet banking portals. Employers who have not yet migrated to online payment should do so before the deadline to avoid late payment penalties. No changes to contribution rates or deadlines are involved, only the payment channel is affected.
